Bem vindos à Satocao

Cocoa plantation in São Tomé e Príncipe

Satocao is a cocoa plantation located in São Tomé e Príncipe, a small archipelago consisting of two islands in the Gulf of Guinea, about 300 km from the west coast of Africa. Founded in 2010 by Swiss and European investors, the company aims to rehabilitate the cocoa industry in this country, working in harmony with local communities.

Thanks to the replanting of many abandoned crops, but also to a strong improvement in production standards and the development of facilities, Satocao has already contributed to increasing local cocoa production.
His greatest pride is to federate small and medium planters into autonomous village groups around this beautiful project.
